Meet Dr. Samuel D'Onofrio (Jeannette, PA)

Samuel E. D’Onofrio, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Optics from the same institution. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Washington & Jefferson College. Dr. D’Onofrio is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has been recognized with the E.F Wildermuth Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Clinical Honors in Primary Eye Care and Pediatrics.

Dr. D’Onofrio is a dedicated member of several professional organizations including the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and Western Pennsylvania Optometric Association. He also serves as a Board member for Vision Benefits of America.

Committed to providing the highest level of quality eye care, Dr. D’Onofrio specializes in the diagnosis and management of eye diseases such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinal disease. His expertise also extends to contact lenses, including those for astigmatism and bifocal contact lenses. Dr. D’Onofrio is fully credentialed to co-manage refractive surgeries such as Lasik and PRK. He adopts a personalized approach to eye care, treating each patient as a valued member of his "eye care family".
